Η ιδανική σχέση ζωής είναι να είσαι με τον άνθρωπο σου από το σχολείο, να μεγαλώσεις μαζί του, να γεμίσεις αναμνήσεις από την κάθε σας στιγµή και η τελική επιδίωξη να του κρατάς το χέρι ως τα βαθειά γεράματα, ακόμη κι αν πλέον δεν θυμάσαι η δεν θυμάται το όνομα σου. Αυτό ήταν και το όνειρο της Sadie. Γνώρισε από το λύκειο τον Danny και πίστεψε στο "για πάντα". Η ζωή όμως είχε αλλά σχέδια ή ίσως τα σχέδια ήρθαν να καλύψουν το κενό που δημιουργήθηκε ανάμεσα σε αυτούς τους δύο ανθρώπους. Αυτούς τους δύο γνωστούς - άγνωστους. Ίσως τελικά να μην μπορεί να υπάρξει το "για πάντα", ίσως αυτή η καθημερινή οικειότητα μεταξύ δύο ανθρώπων να είναι η παγίδα που φθείρει μια σχέση σε όσο δυνατά θεμέλια κι αν έχει χτιστεί.
Η Sadie αγαπάει βαθειά τον Danny, όμως η σπίθα του έρωτα έχει μετουσιωθεί σε ήρεμη αγάπη. Λείπει το πάθος, υπερτερεί η συνήθεια. Το ίδιο ισχύει και για τον Danny ο οποίος οδηγήται σε άλλα μονοπάτια προκειμένου να ξεφύγει από το ίδιο μοτίβο της καθημερινότητας.
Η Emma, είναι η αδερφή που δεν είχε η Sadie και την συμπλήρωσε απόλυτα από τότε που βρέθηκαν στον δρόμο της ζωής. Είναι ο άνθρωπος που θα της πει την αλήθεια στα ίσα, που θα προσπαθήσει με χίλιους τρόπους να την κάνει να χαμογελάσει και είναι η αληθινή soulmate της, πέρα από έρωτες και πάθη, η φιλία αυτή είναι η κορυφή όλων και για τις δύο. Ακόμη και για την Emma, που παντρεύεται τον Chris, τον φίλο που της γνώρισε η Sadie σε ένα ραντεβού έκπληξη, όπου κάθε προσπάθεια να φανεί τυχαία γνωριμία δεν καρποφορησε αφού οι δύο γυναίκες ξέρουν σαν τον εαυτό τους ή μια την άλλη κι ίσως και καλύτερα.
Μέσα στα δαιδαλώδη σοκάκια της ζωής των πρωταγωνιστών και δευτεραγωνιστών έρχεται το καθιερωμένο ετήσιο φεστιβάλ κόμικ όπου η Sadie σαν Amy Pond συναντά τον Batman της καρδιάς της, τον Teo. Τον άνθρωπο που θα ανασύρει την λύπη από την ψυχή της, θα την διαλύσει και θα εγκαταστήσει ένα μόνιμο πέπλο ευτυχίας που θα κρατήσει… για πάντα (?)
Ευχαριστώ θερμά την συγγραφέα για την τιμή να διαβάσω πρώτη ανάμεσα στους πρώτους το βιβλίο της. Το αγάπησα πολύ όπως και τους ήρωες της.
Μέσα στις σελίδες του απλώνονται πλουσιοπάροχα τα μηνύματα ζωής που μεταφέρει στον αναγνώστη. Το ιδανικό της ανιδιοτελούς φιλίας και η τοποθέτηση της στο βάθρο των ανθρωπίνων σχέσεων ήταν ένα σημείο κλειδί που με κέντρισε γιατί συμπίπτει με την προσωπική μου άποψη περί φιλίας.
Όπως επίσης και το να τολμούμε να ξεφύγουμε από τα "τείχη" που οι άλλοι —η κι ο ίδιος μας ο εαυτός λόγω συνήθειας— μας υψώνουν και καταλήγουμε δυστυχισμένοι και μόνοι. Οφείλουμε να διεκδικούμε τα όνειρα μας και να ρισκάρουμε για τον έρωτα και την ευτυχία μας.
Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα σε όλους όσους θέλουν να ταξιδέψουν στον μαγικό κόσμο των συναισθημάτων.

She met Danny in high school and believed in "forever". But life had plans, or maybe the plans came to fill the void created between these two people. These two known - unknown. Maybe there can't be "forever" after all, maybe this everyday intimacy between two people is the trap that wears down a relationship no matter how strong a foundation it's built on.
Sadie loves Danny deeply, but the spark of love has turned into a quiet love. Passion is missing, habit prevails. The same applies to Danny, who is led down different paths in order to escape the same pattern of everyday life.
Emma, is the sister that Shade didn't have and has completely filled her in since they met on the path of life. He is the man who will tell her the truth in equal measure, who will try in a thousand ways to make her smile and is her true soulmate, beyond loves and passions, this friendship is the pinnacle of everything for both of them. Even for Emma, who marries Chris, the boyfriend Sadie met her on a surprise date, where every attempt to appear a casual acquaintance has failed since the two women know each other as well as themselves or maybe even better.
In the labyrinthine alleys of the lives of the protagonists and supporting characters comes the established annual comic con festival where Sadie as Amy Pond meets the Batman of her heart, Teo. The man who will draw the sadness from her soul, dissolve it and install a permanent veil of happiness that will last… forever (?)
I sincerely thank the author for the honor of being one of the first to read her book. I really loved it as well as its heroes. Within its pages, the messages of life that it conveys to the reader are richly spread out. The ideal of selfless friendship and placing it on the pedestal of human relationships was a key point that stimulated me because it coincides with my personal view of friendship.
As well as daring to escape the "walls" that others—and ourselves out of habit—raise for us and end up unhappy and alone. We have to claim our dreams and take risks for our love and happiness. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to travel into the magical world of emotions.
